Registration has opened for participation in the 33rd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, which will take place in May 2024 and was hosted by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC), a division of the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism.

Due to the fair's status as a significant cultural event, there has been an increase in demand to reserve available stands of various sizes in order to guarantee attendance at the next fair. It has become a significant yearly venue and gathering place for publishers in the area and throughout the globe.

According to the most recent registration statistics, 322 stands (excluding government stands) have already been reserved, which equates to around 64% of the available booths.

Local publishers and exhibitors are becoming more and more interested, and 44% of the participants registered for the 2024 expo are from the UAE.

Additionally, organizations from a variety of nations have shown interest by booking available stands: 10% from Egypt, 7% each from the Republic of Turkey and Lebanon, 6% from Syria, and 5% from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The majority of booking requests (50%) were for medium-sized stands, which were between 16 and 36 square meters in size. 38% of buyers expressed interest in stands between 9 and 15 square meters, while 12% were interested in stands greater than 36 square meters.

Participation is a desirable possibility given the fair's ongoing success and the recent exemption from rental and participation costs for the third year in a row.

In line with the ALC's plan to expand the publishing industry and promote Arabic as a language of culture, knowledge, and creativity, this project promotes regional, Arab, and worldwide publishers.

Next, the success of the book fair held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from May 22–28, 2023, there is anticipation for the next occasion. In terms of area, participation, and locations, it was the biggest.

More than 1,300 exhibitors and publishers from over 85 different nations displayed more than 500,000 titles in a variety of languages, together with more than 800 visitors, lecturers, and attendees.
